Let me explain how I approach wedding photography. I know this is new and confusing. I will walk with you every step and do what I can to make it easier for you.
Let’s Get Comfortable Before the Big Day
For most people, working with a photographer is a totally new experience, and that can feel intimidating. I get it. My job is to make this easier, more comfortable, and maybe even fun.
Your wedding day will come with enough pressure, I don’t want to add to it. That’s why I like to spend a little time with every couple before the big day, when the stakes are low and the vibe is relaxed.
I do two things with every couple I work with:
1. A Tasting Experience (Yes, Really)
Before anything else, let’s just hang out for an hour or so, no cameras involved. I’ll take you out for a wine tasting (my favorite), or if wine’s not your thing, we’ll go grab some amazing chocolate desserts.
Whether you're a wine expert or totally new to it, there’s no pressure, no quiz at the end! The goal is simple: enjoy some good flavors, get to know each other, and talk through your plans in a casual, easygoing setting.
2. An Engagement Photo Shoot
This is the best way to ease nerves and get a feel for what it’s like to be in front of the camera.
Most people wonder:
“What’s the photographer going to make us do?”
“How are we going to look?”
An engagement session answers both. You'll see that I’m not about elaborate, awkward poses or confusing directions. I’ll help you feel natural and confident and you’ll know exactly what to expect on your wedding day.
Plus, you’ll have the peace of mind knowing no one will ever see an unflattering photo from your wedding. I’ve got you.
